Friday Open Track-Back Post

I unfortunately don’t have a bunch of time this morning to post much of anything. After work this afternoon I have a short meeting and then have to be at the local high school to do the scholarship kick-off thing. It’s Homecoming there tonight so we need to be there a bit early in order to get a parking place. I am hoping I can manage to get out of the meeting pretty quickly. I short nap before the game would be very nice indeed.

If you have the time and are concerned about catching some of the sick pedophile bastards that haunt the Internet, go check out Warriors For Innocence and leave a comment.

  3. Using Television to Make Harry Dresden Boring

The Dresden Files is a series of books about a wizard for hire in modern-day Chicago. Last year it became a television show on the Sci-Fi channel. The show was cancelled after one season, but it has fans who want…

  4. “King Tut” — Steve Martin & The Toot Uncommons

I was visiting Planck’s Constant which has an entry entitled “13 Things Egyptian your grandchildren will never see” which got me to reminisce about something Egyptian from my childhood. Namely, the King Tut World Tour in the late 70’s. That als…

  5. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal — Pt. Deux

Just found out that some uber-libs can’t stand the fact that not only a conservative, but a conservative minority was elected Governor of Louisiana. Asian Week editorialist (and I use that term quite loosely) Emil Guillermo has written a hateful edit…

  6. 13 Things Egyptian your grandchildren will never see

There exists a real danger that Islam will one day destroy the cultural and historical heritage of Egypt: A fatwa issued by Egypt’s top religious authority that forbids the display of statues has art-lovers fearing that it could be used by Islamic extr…

  7. Democrats, The Party Of Amygdala?

According to The Hill Democrats have a difficult time relaying their messages to the average voter. A more comprehensive message is needed to sufficiently relay Democrat Party talking points to the electorate. Democrats feel that they ha…

  8. HillaryGate, HillaryScam or JustHillary

One needs a template to simplify posting of Clinton stories to include the dirty laundry list of sordid scenarios that have not, to date, resulted in convictions.

  9. Fort Dix Six Defendant To Enter Guilty Plea

This plea deal may lead Abdullahu to flip on his co-defendants, which bodes poorly for the other five defendants. It also adds to the pressure on the other five to try and cut deals for themselves.

  10. Racist Commentator Condemns Jindal As An “Uncle Bob”

But then again, it will be ignored by the mainstream press — or even echoed approvingly — because the racist in question is an Asian-American commentator for an Asian-American publication. When you see a person of color, you expect someone…

  11. Legislators Return Qurans

Now we can argue over whether or not the response to receiving the books is the correct one, but I think this situation raises a different question that is being overlooked. Two dozen Oklahoma lawmakers plan to return copies of…

  12. Murder Attempts at SIOE Demonstration

Muslim terrorists unwittingly make SIOE’s point by reacting violently to a peaceful protest. Hat tip, JW.Sunday the 21th October was not only a severe attack on freedom of speech but an attempt to close the mouth forever on an organisation

  13. Open Trackback Post October 26th
