This isn’t really an update to the Caylee story but I came across a post entitled A Lying Sack of Shit… over at Mrs Who’s place which tells all there is to tell about this story. I agree with her 100% on the whole deal.

About a 100 from their community came together last night to pray for Caylee and Casey Anthony at a prayer vigil. Hopefully they were praying that she start telling the truth…
There have also been reports that the grandparents had a new concrete slab installed in their backyard over the July 4th weekend although that hasn’t been confirmed. The Anthonys say that they have been straightforward with the police about any work that has been done at their house over the last year and that the police have investigated their house thoroughly, yet the Orange County Sheriff’s department told FOX news that they were not aware of a recently poured concrete slab.
Two days ago Cindy Anthony stated that there had been two reported sightings of Caylee in Georgia and she believes her granddaughter is headed to Charlotte, NC. Why Charlotte? Heck if I know.
Yesterday I mentioned the reward. It has grown larger thanks to local Orlando businessman Peter Benevides. The reward for information leading to Caylee’s whereabouts is now $250,000. Maybe once it reaches the amount of her bail Casey Anthony will actually tell police the truth about what happened.
Here’s a bit of the transcript from the phone call Casey Anthony made to her family from jail this week. I posted links to where you can find them below:

Cindy Anthony: ‘Cause my next thing will be down to child (inaudible) thing and we’ll have a court order to get her. If that’s the way you want to play, we’ll do it and you’ll never. . .
Casey Anthony: That’s not the way I want to play. . .
Cindy Anthony: Well then you have. . .
Casey Anthony: Give me one more day.
Cindy Anthony: No, I’m not giving you another day, I’ve given you a month.

Obviously judging from the conversation, while the grandparents may not have had anything to do with Caylee’s disappearance at least the grandmother was aware of it. Just from the transcripts I have read I am beginning to think that Casey decided to either sell or give away her two-year-old daughter.
