The trial of a NY City bouncer accused of raping and strangling graduate student Imette St. Guillen got under way yesterday. He has pleaded not guilty and claims that he had nothing to do with the woman’s death and that New York City police have framed him. Police found DNA evidence on the tie that bound her hands together as well as DNA matches from his family on the bed cover that St. Guillen’s body was wrapped in before it was dumped near the freeway.
Littlejohn is already serving a 25-year sentence for kidnapping and rape and his rap sheet goes back 32 years and includes muggings, bank robberies and assault with a razorblade. The Queens, NY judge who sentenced him in the previous rape and kidnapping back in January called Littlejohn a ‘classic sociopath.
