Perry Williams Escapes During Flood Clean-up

Any time there is a man-made or natural disaster there will be a portion of the populace that are going to take advantage of it and one of the guys that did so this week during the flooding in Atlanta was 27-year-old Perry Bernard Williams of Marietta, Georgia.

Williams was in jail for receiving stolen goods in Gwinnett County and was originally serving 24 months in the Work Release Program until he violated the rules and was sentenced to being incarcerated full-time back in July.

During the flooding Williams was working with an inmate work crew cleaning up mud and other flood debris from Collins Hill Park when he escaped. Gwinnett County Deputies are currently looking for him as well as investigating his escape.
