Terry Hill Arrested for Attempted Child Enticement
The Northwest Georgia Crimes Against Children Task Force is a pretty vigilant bunch of folks made up of law enforcement officers from the FBI, the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office, Dalton Police Department, Dade County Sheriff’s Office, Rossville PD and the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office. They are dedicated to catching criminals both before and after they have harmed our children. In Terry Hill’s case it was before and officers successfully made sure that Hill couldn’t harm a child, a least not this time.
57-year-old Terry (listed as Terrance on one news site but NOT in his booking docket) Michael Hill of Chattanooga, Tennessee is a computer repairman. Being familiar with computers certainly doesn’t make him an expert on the Internet but the dumbass probably should have known that anyone he was chatting with WASN’T who he thought they were. He thought he was chatting up a minor in Catoosa County about sex.
Hill set up a meet with the “minor” and drove down to Georgia late Wednesday night where he was met not by a child (obviously) but by members of the task force who arrested him and charged him under the Computer Pornography and Child Exploitation Act of 1999 as well as Aggravated Child Molestation. He is lodged in the Catoosa County Jail on $10,000 bond.
