Monday afternoon a 911 call came into Baxter County, Arkansas from a woman who said that her husband had assaulted her with an ax. A little while later she called back to tell them that she and her children had escaped but that they needed medical attention. She drove to a major intersection and met Sheriff’s Deputies along with EMTs who took her and her 9-Year-Old son to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Apparently Marshall and his wife had been arguing and the parolee didn’t want to hear any more shit so he hit his wife several times. When their son tried to intervene he threw the boy to the ground and slammed his head against the wall. The mother and son managed to get in the car along with her 16-Year-Old daughter. Marshall grabbed an ax and swung it at his wife as they were getting in the car, barely missing her and denting the car badly.
Deputies went to the home of 29-Year-Old Jason Thomas Marshall with the intention of questioning Marshall. After speaking to him they attempted to place the man under arrest. Marshall fought back and they ended up tasering his ass in order to subdue him.
Once Marshall arrived at the jail he continued to fight the booking officers and did some damage to the booking area as well.
Marshall has been charged with Domestic Battery, Aggravated Assault, Impairing the Operations of a Vital Facility and Habitual Offender. His previous conviction is Aggravated Assault against his knife when he tried to attack her with a knife. He is being held on $250,000 bond.
