It just disgusts me how people will treat children. I was just reading about Mark and Katherine Hoffman over at DD and was horrified at what they did to their own children and then I ran across this one.
A 38-year-old man from the Mercer area is accused of raping a 12-year-old girl.
State Police have charged Ernest Smither with attacking the youngster, early last Friday.
The victim was spending the night with Smither’s daughter when the alleged assault took place.
Smithers was jailed on $30-thousand bond.
Smither admitted to police in an interview that he had molested the girl and according to the victim he also offered her alcohol. She and her father went to the state police barracks on August 31st to report the crime which happened on August 29th while she was staying at a friend’s house.
He has been charged with Rape of a Child, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Child, Statutory Sexual Assault, Aggravated Indecent Assault and Corruption of Minors.

she was not the only one he also did a 15year old that was friends with the family ..he got 8 years in prison 8 years of parole and has to sign up on the megan law for life
