Just this past Friday four-year-old Tamyrill Randall was found unconscious and not breathing in her house. According to El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies Tristan Price was supposed to be taking care of her. When he found her unresponsive. He shook her to try and wake her up and when that didn’t work he tried to revive her in the shower. Then he called 911. Tamyrill was pronounced dead at Memorial Hospital.
An autopsy that was performed Saturday morning showed that in addition to eight broken ribs and a bit mark on her shoulder the girl’s liver was almost ripped in half, which would have killed her within minutes. The coroner stated that the liver injury would have been consistent with being stomped on.
In addition to the current injuries the forensic pathologist also said that three of the ribs had been broken previously and had started healing when they were broken again in the same place. Tristan Price has also been investigated previously because of bite marks found on each of Tamyrill’s breasts but no charges had been filed in that investigation. One interesting thing was that the mother of the child, Tanesa Randall had a large bite mark on her arm and told detectives that Price had bitten her in anger.
In addition to being jailed on first-degree murder he has also been charged with several misdemeanors in an unrelated violence incident with Tanesa Randyll. Unrelated? Seems related to me. As a matter of fact it leads right up to the abuse this poor child suffered.
KKTV in Colorado says that Tanesa Randall and the brother of Tristan Price had no idea that Price had been locked up for murder. They had thought he was arrested for domestic violence. Tanesa said “I just want to figure out what happened to my daughter. I don’t have any answers. Other people know more about my daughter’s autopsy than me”.

Interesting comment to say the least. According to the reports I have read so far Mr Price was home alone with Tamyrill which is why police have charged him with the murder.
Updated – In March, 2009 Tristan Price pleaded guilty March 16 to felony child abuse, knowingly and recklessly causing the death of 4-year-old Tamyrii Randall. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

I hear a lot of child abuse stories in the media and you think that the cases can’t get any worse. My heart really goes out to the child because she had to suffer so much at a young age. What kind of person stomp a child until their liver rips in half. I don’t understand why mothers are not more protective of their children.
when the child first got her ribs broke; was she taken to the hospital? who was in the house then? the magic question. who did it the first time if you(Tanesa) was bitten by him and with him for sooo many years. what happen? drugs? alcohol? what no who did that then?

What the police have to investigate is the facts. Five years is a long time for someone at that age and people change drastically. I certainly wouldn’t be surprised is drugs were in the offing.
You are right in that nobody is perfect but I think the facts are pretty telling as to what kind of person he was.
Disastrous story really very painful, I am feeling so sorry for the Child. However the evidences and the circumstances are against the Tristan, I think he must be asked that where he was when the child was heavily stomped, If he was supposed to take care of the child then where were he, why he left the child. Is there any solid reason with him to explain this
I have known this boy all his life from birth!! He loved children, he is innocent! I agree with the fact that Tanessa commented that there were other people in this house–and there were!! He was asleep so was she, so were the kids, and other adults!! Other men…in that house…the fact remains that the ones of you …that know Tristan….know that he does not have it in his nature to be mean to a child. I knew that with his prior record that the racist place that Colorado Springs is…that they considered him a outsider. The truth is he and his siblings were born in Colorado…their father whom he met for the first time in 2007 lived in Widefield. Yes, the fact remains that mimi was hurt before that day..she went to bed after the mother. The uncle left for work, …then some time after that..the mom. Everyone was sleep….the other children and adults. Tristan had a toothache the night before and took medication, which made him groggy but, the children and he were sleep…Tristan got a call from a uncle…one of the uncle who lived in the house woke him up…gave him the phone, he was on the phone talking….not knowing that Mimi was in harms way or dead. Everyone ..thought the child was sleeping. All he kept saying was if he had woke up sooner, maybe…..he could of saved her. I can tell you…I know everyone that lives at that address. ALL OF THEM LOVED CHILDREN….WE ARE NOT ADVOCATES OF CHILD ABUSE AND CHILD KILLING. PRAY THAT WE FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PRECIOUS CHILD. JUST PRAY FOR JUSTICE IN THIS CASE. If you have evidence that the police haven’t released and Tristan is truly innocent why haven’t you stepped forward to the public and released it? Leaving cryptic comments on blogs ain’t the way to get it out. Tell us, or better yet tell big name reporters exactly what it is that you are sure will get him released.
If the dude is truly innocent he doesn’t need to stay in jail any longer. If it’s just the fact that you are defending your son I can understand that as well because I have kids but no amount of motherly love is going to change the facts.
WOW what a sad story..I think that for one there needs to be charges brought against who ever investigated the bites on the poor babys chest previously to her death for allowing her to go back to a home with signs of abuse…and they say that triston was the only one in the home not tested for the bite marks and everyone else in the house was cleared…so whats up with that
As a mother I can only imagine the horror you must feel, especially since you believe that your child is innocent. However, the fact remains, a baby is dead at the hands of SOMEONE! It seems that if you know facts related to this case that will free your child,that you would be spilling your guts to whomever will listen, yet you remain elusive. What’s up with that?
Tristan is my little brother. I know that he is not capable of the brutality that he is being accused of. I don’t know what it is that his mother knows, but I know that she loves him to no end and she would never stand up for him if he was guilty. I also know my brother and I know that he adores children and would never ever harm them. To Tristan’s mother, my prayers are in one accord with yours that the truth come out and your son’s nightmare will soon be over.
If he is innocent then I hope that the truth does come out. I haven’t looked into this lately to see if the police are saying anything different so don’t know if there is any new information out there.
Richard, I thought my comment was posted, which replied to you and others. I am the reason they went in, to get the answers about mee mee. I didn’t think that Colorado Springs is still the prejudice place it always has been, nor did I ever suspect that she was murdered. There was alot in the statment I posted but never made it to your page. Let me start by saying. I tried to work with the detectives…they were using the information I FOUND OUT, BECAUSE THE OTHER MALES IN THE HOME ARE NOT AND WAS NOT COOPERATING. THAT IS THE FIRST POINT. THERE IS NOT DRUGS INVOLVED, but, I am going to say that when there is an investigation, a person doesn’t run to your blog to state anything. I was called and told you posted this about my son. YOU didn’t have the facts…he was not by himself in the house, and the people that were there, are not talking to the detectives. They have told me he is innocent, and of course, we all will be in court before this is all over. The medical examiner has been on the job how long? one year? There were twenty eight bodies before Tamyrill’s? The autopsy report details none of us were told, until the news broadcasted the fact that the mother really didn’t know what happened. The detectives told all of us a different time of death. They didn’t investigate at all.. Tristan was the only one that came in. He walked in to that station hours after he and I talked. If he had done such a thing…he would not have went to the station at all. NO ONE WOULD HAVE! HE WAS NOT BY HIMSELF IN THE HOUSE!! . I WAS ASK BY A DETECTIVE TO GET CERTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT THAT DAY AND MORNING, I DID MORE THAN THAT. I WENT BACK THE PAST MONTH. Again, my responsibility is to be a honest citizen and to free my son. I am working on this night and day. I AM STILL GRIEVING “MIMI” SHE IS HEAVY ON MY MIND AND HEART!! I can’t sleep a whole night. I break down and nothing, is going to bring that precious girl back. This site and others feed on our grief and hurt. This pain I WOULDN’T WISH ON MY ANYONE. What you all are doing is passing judgement, without any evidence. There are many people who sit in jails and prisons..innocent. Convicted because they didn’t have a good lawyer, or because, of their race & socio-economic satus. Colorado didn’t find Jon Benet’s killer, and yet I am suppose to have faith that they will find out what happened to “MIMI”? Yeah right!?
Also I have talked to a station before I put these comments up, but, of course. A judge has to free my son. I could tell you ….he’s innocent, but he has to be set free by the court. Sure, for two weeks after I was calling and leaving messages on the detectives voicemail and after I got Info they didn’t follow through. They aren’t looking for any truth! They didn’t question all the people I DID. Now after I gave them information they still didn’t follow through. The people won’t talk to them. They would try to follow up and run into a brick wall. So, they wanted me to get the information but, they are not willing to do what is necessary to truly find the truth. Everyone, regardless of time that they say they left the house, should have been hauled in. So this means I have to get on a plane, and do this myself. I wasn’t in any position to even propose I would come and investigate everyone, but, how else can I find the truth.! Since this whole ordeal….I have not been able to function. I ve been talking to key people on the phone, but, now…there are people not willing to talk to me, that won’t except a call, that Im paying for, simply because of the fact, that I was working with detective. They know I would turn in the person that did this. The facts are that the autopsy is not enough, because he is not been on the job, but one year. A MAN just charged Hebert/herbert that kid is said to have eight broken ribs…that is not coincidental. I am not confident with the findings and ask for second expert opinion, which they telling us to pay for. I need someone to find out how many cases of children in that county and surrounding has the same findings.?! Because it just doesn’t sound right to me. Also, the fact that the samples and evidence was not cataloged right away. The truth is Tristan was the one cooperating, with the police and when he wanted to know what happened,…they came down on him hard. He went there out of love for that little girl…I TOLD THEM TO GO DOWN TOGETHER….THEY WERE IN PIECES..young people following what I Said and everyone saying all these ugly things to him &about him as well as threatening the mother. They were cleared in February of any wrong doing, or bite marks, otherwise…those kids would have been removed and placed in foster care.! PERIOD.! This child was taken to the doctor,and my question is how did the doctor miss that her ribs were broken? This doctor should be charged as well. It isn’t right that lies and rumors are now on this blog as fact. That just isn’t right.

Im trying to get a ticket to get there to do what the police can’t seem to do….find her killer.!! Tristan was tested and it wasn’t a finding of proof, this was told to me by a detective. The DHS also cleared them. There is the mother’s siblings who are making vicious statements but when she needed her sister –the sister refused to let them come stay with her. The other sibling hasn’t seen the mother since about five years old.And, if anyone made these comments without considering that Child Services would have removed them.

In this country that is suppose to be our country….African Americans/Indians always get the raw end of most of the negative consequences and experiences of any other two races. Colorado Springs Sheriffs department have no interest in what happened..the name and the information I gave they are sitting on. I called them while he was in the room, and they still arrested my son. My older son was there trying to tell them information and other family members, they simply didn’t care. They had there minds made up…they don’t care what really happened. My son should have been out looking for work. There was a birth certificate and social security card acquired for him , yet, he was ask to watch the kids. The night before he had a bad toothache took some medication, and I wish he would have just allowed someone else in the house to assume responsibility since he really shouldn’t have been watching anyone, the way he felt.If you ever had a bad toothache…you know what he felt like. There were other people in the house, and there were times, Tristan would leave and they kept the children. These children by the way were kids you really don’t have to say much to. The whole thing has me heartsick. I use to live in Colorado, and alot hasn’t changed in Colorado Springs. I can tell you that if you had numerous adult men in a home, you wouldn’t just arrest one. He was the most vulnerable to pick on, because even though he is 23 years old…he hasn’t been in any situations EVER like this.! Our family does foster care for the state of California, but ….I know that when a child is left with anyone that leaves them responsible for that child, no matter if the child was hurt previous or right before being left with that sitter. You are stating your position, but if you knew….how many factors came in to play just within the last two weeks of her death…you would just want for the examiner to be thorough. My investigation turned up alot, the truth is the police (sheriffs department) could not talk to or get cooperation from anyone else. Because they are well versed on what to say and how to deal with police. My son has dealt with only one type of system, in California (a great place to live) it is going to be thorough and they are not going to settle for just anyone. They handle cases alot different. The sheriffs department and the District Attorney from the first court date, all were disappointed over a case involving another one of the family members in the house, and have use my son as target of their negativity, because their case went to shreds against another person in the house, involving another charge. There is bad blood with the Sheriffs Department and the Price family…period!! Which in turn hurt my son, even though he has been there only one year in Colorado. They have taken out all their anger and frustration on him, and since they couldn’t arrest the family member they wanted and send him to prison…..they settled for Tristan
I attended Widefield H.S., therefore, am familiar with the Price family. Haven’t seen them in years,yet this tragedy tugs at my heart. Just hope that justice is truly served in this situation SOON! If it is any consolation, know that God is STILL in control and WILL have the final sayso. May you have the peace of God that surpasses all understanding to get you through this horrible time in your life.
I guess if I were privy to evidence that the police didn’t have my next step would be to take it to the media. One of the news channels is bound to take it/listen to it and do a story getting the awareness out there. Sometimes government agencies have to be forced to listen to reason.
If TV stations don’t want to listen there is no end of crime blogs and news sites that even if they are skeptical will at least post your information. So far you haven’t really given anything concrete but even as skeptical as I am I will be more than willing to post it as well.

Tristan is a good guy but i dnt know if he did it or not but in my heart i think he did medicated he could have u never know so there u go boom. tristan been in jail all his life mother didn’t care for him so let that be told too but i hope the lil gurls family get closure for sure?

Has the case gone to trial yet? I have found very little information on the internet and have not yet had the time to contact the local court for records.
