Clayton Murphy and his wife have been separated for a while now. I don’t know what kind of relationship they had or what was going on that he had his children instead of the mother but Clayton called her up on Sunday evening to tell her he had killed one of their children and was getting ready to kill the other one.
His wife immediately called 911 (she was in Houston) and was transferred to Baton Rouge at which time she let them know what happened. Police must have responded pretty quickly but when they arrive they found that the door to his third floor apartment had to be forced open as he had blocked it with a television. When deputies entered they saw him standing over one of the children with a bloody knife in his hand. One of the officers fired a shot which missed and then he was tasered by two of the other deputies.
Clayton Lee Murphy is being held without bond on two counts of first-degree murder. He told detectives that he wanted to get back at his wife.

I wondered that myself. There aren’t a whole lot of details out about the case right now. Oh, by the way, your spam link was mistyped, so that’s the only reason I am leaving the crap here.
We used to be neighbors and Renata and I became good friends. When I saw Clayton on the news in handcuffs my whole body went numb. It is really something when terrible things lie this happen to someone you know and love. When we were neighbors, Juwan was my little buddy, I can’t believe he’s gone! I will continue to pray for both, Renata and Clayton, may God be with them.
It’s really hard sometimes to see things happen to people you know and love. From everything I have read (which isn’t a lot) there was no kind of warning or anything and this really shocked everyone.

I worked with Clayton for about a year. Me and my co-workers always knew something was wrong with him.. I just didn’t think he would do something like this.
this Guy was actually a quiet guy that kept to himself. i lived on the floor above him. and i came home one day and saw cops everywhere. nobody was allowed to go to that floor all night. I was deffently shocked to find out what happened. I guess some people are different than what you see.
