A couple of nights ago deputies in El Paso stopped a Mitsubishi for a moving violation. The driver was a young hispanic male who was acting very nervous and suspicious so they decided to pull him over. When deputies asked Cesar Moreno to exit the vehicle so they could question him he took off running into the darkness of the neighborhood.
He gave it a good shot, running for about a quarter of a mile through canals and backyards. When they finally caught up to him (you knew they would…) sheriff’s deputies discovered 641+ grams of methamphetamine. This resident of Mexico bringing drugs into the U.S. was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance (meth) and evading arrest or detention.
