35-year-old Clinton Ernest Pruitt apparently likes to keep busy during the summer months as well. The only thing is, he doesn’t seem to care if his summer is filled with legal and fulfilling activities or not.
Clinton let it get around that he was looking to buy some meth and I could have told him that stuff like that generally gets around to the wrong people but he most likely wouldn’t have listened anyway. Clinton Pruitt purchased 14 grams of methamphetamine from an undercover law enforcement officer in Forsyth County, GA earlier in the month, allegedly with the intent to turn around and sell it for more.
Clinton, who teaches at Dawson County Middle School, was released on $27,500 bond back on July 14th. According to the Dawson County Schools Superintendent Keith Porter Pruitt is still employed by Dawson County and will remain so while they “monitor the situation”. Considering the fact that school starts back in two weeks, exactly what are they going to have him doing there? Teaching kids about Economics? If I were a resident of Dawson County I’m not sure I would want my kids around Pruitt. WTF? My wife is being forced to take three unpaid leave days in order to save the State of Georgia enough money to cut it’s budget because politicians don’t know how to keep to a budget worth a damn. Perhaps they could furlough this piece of crap and split his salary between some of the other Dawson County teachers who deserve their hard-earned money.

Grow up!! You don’t know what kind of money situation Clint was in!! Your so immature for this! You can’t let things be and let people deal with their own situation?? He has a daughter you know and one day she will want to google her daddy and she’s got to read this shit you wrote!! And your wife must not ne to good if she was picked to leave!!!!! Nobody made you stop here and read but thanks for the input. As far as “real” parents go, most of us don’t have to resort to buying or selling drugs in order to see their kids. Not sure about Forsyth County but all of the teachers in Carroll County and most of the other counties in the state are being furloughed for three days prior to the end of the calender year along with every other state employee. No picking involved. You may not have seen that but it’s been in the news for over a week now.
Mr. Pruitt’s financial situation is of no one’s concern. Your naive position for his “benefit of the doubt” has no relevance to the students over which he has had influence. We are concerned parents of one of his students and we DO NOT want our child anywhere near him. If your liberal views are reflected upon your children, we hope that our child does not interact with your child.
Whether or not he is found guilty, Mr. Pruitt has exercised extremely poor judgement. As a teacher, his arrest is illustration of acting in a manner unbecoming of a public servant. Even if it were guilt by association, it is still unacceptable. Teachers should have to undergo random drug testing.
I agree and my wife, a teacher as I mentioned above, also concurs. Most teachers have no problems with drug testing.
i am a student at the school where Mr.Pruitt taught. I find it very strange that this happened considering that his class made moview on “Say no to drugs!” Mr. Pruitt did not seem as though he would be that kind of a person. I guess not.
“Half of Dawsonville” (do you really speak for 50% of the county?? LOL), ever think that Pruitt should’ve thought about how his daughter would one day be googling his name before doing what he did? All that Richard did was report on the case…and I couldn’t care less about his fiancial situation, maybe if he wasn’t blowing his $$$ on meth he’d have a little in the bank.
