I guess this crime wasn’t quite as random as I first thought it was.
Back in 2007 Luis Alberto Porras was charged with statutory rape after Jameelah Qureshi accused him of having sex with a 15-year-old relative according to Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard.
Porras was 20 at the time and the girl considered Porras as her boyfriend. Porras, who met her at a Dekalb County school, took her to Roswell to have sex.
During the case, in which Qureshi was a witness, Porras copped a plea and ended up getting eight years of probation.
It looks like Amanda Dove has edited her MySpace (link in the previous story linked to above) page and gotten rid of all her pictures and stuff. That’s actually a good thing as there was this one nasty camel toe picture that made me want to throw up in my mouth just a little bit. But I digress…She has cleaned up her page and gotten rid of ALL photos, changed her display name from Mi$$ NEW bOOTY to just plain old DOVE. A couple of her “friends” have left some not-so-nice comments but if that’s the harshest she gets there she should consider herself lucky. When you hang with a piece of trash like Luis people are going to treat you the same.

According to WSB’s report tonight at 6pm Porras was also possibly involved in a murder several years ago but there was not enough evidence to charge him. I will try and look into that in the morning and post another update if I find anything to do with that.

Update on Lois….charges…
Decatur, Ga. – A DeKalb County grand jury today indicted Luis Porras and Amanda Dove for the murder of Jameelah Qureshi, a 40-year-old mother of four and a resident of Lithonia, Georgia. She was also the fiancée of Duwayne Thomas, a DeKalb County Police Department sergeant.
The indictment lists five counts against Porras that include malice murder, two counts of felony murder, one charge of possession of a firearm by a first offender probationer and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Dove is charged with three counts: malice murder, felony murder and possession of a firearm during the commission
of a felony.
Porras’ charge of possessing a firearm by a first offender probationer is levied because he is on probation for a statutory rape that happened in Fulton County. Qureshi’s report of that crime to police lead to Porras’ Fulton County conviction.
A task force formed by the DeKalb County Police Department led to the quick arrest. Both Porras and Dove are being held in the DeKalb County jail without bond.
