61-year-old Charles E. Amy of Ball Ground, GA was arrested last night on charges of child porn after the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office completed an investigation they have been doing for the last month.
The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant last night and found thousands of videos and pictures containing child pornography on his computer. Charles Amy has been charged with 40 counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children.
He is currently being held at the Cherokee Adult Detention Center without bond.
