Allison Dean Gets Twenty

Back during the spring of 2008 now 31-year-old Allison Dean, an English teacher at Magnolia Junior High School in Arkansas, started a relationship with a 15-year-old student. It started out with her asking for his cell phone number and sending him text messages and over a period of time the two started smoking marijuana together and they had sex several times.

Dean was arrested in August of 2008 for sexual assault as well as for providing drugs to the minor after his mother grew suspicious of his cell phone use and he finally admitted to his father what was going on.

Jury selection for Dean’s trial was to have started this past week  She entered a guilty plea to four counts of sexual assault and has been sentenced to twenty years in prison.
