27-Year-Old Anaheim, California resident Marc Alan Silberman has been arrested for allegedly molesting a girl at Savanna High School where he was substitute teaching last Thursday.
The girl reported to police on Friday that she met Silberman when he was teaching at her school last week. She told them that Silberman had “Sexual Contact” with her. There aren’t any details as to if her parents found out and called the law or if she volunteered the information to them herself initially.
Silberman is accused of sexually assaulting a 16-Year-Old girl that he asked to stay after class as well as inappropriately grabbing another student after he passed her sex-related notes. Both of the girls, who are in different grades, reported the incidents to police. Silberman was arrested on Saturday and is currently lodged in the Anaheim Detention Facility on charges of Sexual Penetration With a Foreign Object and Child Annoyance. He will have an arraignment hearing later this week. He’s being held on $100,000 bond.
Silberman doesn’t have much in the way of information online. His most recent MySpace page is unfortunately deleted and I can’t find it in Google’s cache right now. It was here. He does have an older one here that he hasn’t logged into in the last four years. There are some photos up but that’s about it.
Police are concerned that there may be other victims and want anyone with information to contact detectives at 714-765-1623.

Well if he’s guilty (and my guess is that he is from what I’ve read) then he will have to register as a sex offender and hopefully will never be hired to work around children again.
I went to savanna and marc was a softball coach and long time substitute teacher on that campus. I would have never imagined this, but he was friendly with everyone.
