The Fulton County School Board has fired 22-Year-Old Jacqualine (Jackie) Connally, who has been driving a school bus for two years. Connally is accused of having participated in a sexual relationship with a now 17-Year-Old boy who attended Langston Hughes High School for the last year.
The district found out about their relationship from a student who tipped them off. The bus driver was confronted and admitted to the relationship. Connally was immediately fired from her position.
The Fulton County School System Police Department is pursuing charges and expects to file them soon.
Updated 10/29/09 – Jackie Connally was arrested last night at her home in Union City, Georgia for Misdemeanor Sexual Assault.
Update II 10/29/09 – Connally has been granted $20,000 bond. I don’t yet know if she has posted it or not but she did have a bond hearing earlier this morning at which it was granted.
