I just can’t get my head around this. I most definately don’t agree. We already have plenty of ID cards, just do like the State of Georgia is trying to get passed, and require photo ID (drivers license, etc). The Federal Government already has plenty (too much) information about us as it is. It should be none of their fucking business how much I make, where I want to live, etc.

Slashdot | FBI Demands Logs From Radical Website
sunbird writes “The details are as yet unclear due to a gag order, but apparently the FBI is once again demanding IP logs from dissident webservers. The sysadmin for flag.blackened.net, best known for hosting infoshop.org and the Anarchist FAQ has responded to an FBI request for server logs. Although he cannot reveal the details of the request due to the gag order, the sysadmin has issued an informal press release discussing his reasons for turning over the information.
Perhaps he didn’t want to go to fucking jail. Hahaha -

Did you really think it could have gone any other way. They need to let the poor woman die and rest in peace. Fuck, now even the federal goverment is involved, which means that wills and estates may end up being affected. This is something that has traditionally been controlled by local governments and the states.

I really like the fact that Neal is still posting (and TALKING) about the fairtax. We really need to get this going. Yes, I agree that we need to do something about social security. I don’t like Social Security simply because when I die, my children don’t get to keep my hard-earned cash. Nope, it’s for the government to keep, since they basically took it at gunpoint. The Fairtax would fix Social Security, it would pay for it. Check out the Fairtax web site for more info.

Hell yes. Awhile back (last Easter I think, maybe last summer), Stephanie lost our fucking digital camera in Hilton Head. Her friend Niqui found the bastard in a stroller she had been using. Good fing deal. Damn thing cost me $350 and although we have replaced it, the Kodak was much nicer. What I really want is a digital SLR, but these two should do for awhile. Maybe when I get my damn Best Buy card paid down a little more I can plunk down the $7 or $800 for a nice one.

Think I may quit smoking when this pack runs out in a couple of hours. Stephanie quit around four months ago, and she has done pretty well considering I still smoke. As she says, it may take a couple of months of fucking tranquilizers for me to actually quit. Actually I will be fine, it will be the rest of humanity that I come in contact with that is going to fucking suffer. The big thing is that I like smoking for the most part, but I can feel it starting to fuck with me. I have smoke for about 25 years, anywhere from one to three packs a day for the last 20. I’m the guy that gets up at 2am just cause I have to have a smoke. Guess I will just have to see how it goes. Wish me luck (and my fucking employees too).

Just finished watching a couple of trailers for Sin City and I must say, it looks pretty damn cool. I think that Chris and I are going to have to go see it on my day off next week. He is on spring break, so that would work out nicely. I haven’t read any of Frank Miller’s stuff since the Dark Knight books, but he is certainly creepy enough.
-
Goddam. It’s a good damn thing I did actually move my frigging site. Everything has slown to a damn crawl tonight. Chris is gaming, but that normally won’t slow anything down. I am on cable and usually have a fast as hell connection. Need to check the status of my router. There are a couple of other unprotected wireless networks around here, someone could actually have gotten into my net and be going through here.

I tend to agree with Neil Boortz’ view on this subject. I vaccilated back and forth for awhile reading different news reports and some medical reports before coming to this decision and feel that it is best for Congress, as well as the rest of the politicians to just stay the hell out of it.

Robert Blake was found innocent of Murder. Still not sure about that one, but you are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. Just seems like too much bullshit for something to NOT have been going on.

Once you get past the male-bashing, this is a pretty good post. Do I think Condi would win if faced against that damned Hildabeast? No I don’t. Would “I” vote for her? Hell yes. I think it is very easy to make incorrect generalizations abouty men (and women), but in politics, as in business, the proof is in the pudding. You have to earn respect and prove you have the salt to make it.

A good time was had by all Saturday. Personally I had a few beers too many, didn’t get sick, but it was close. Spent the day Sunday being pretty dehydrated. So what do I do. Hell, went outside and planted Blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry bushes. Oh yeah, and a Wisteria. Can’t wait for everything to start to grow in a couple of months. Will post some pictures once it does.
It’s back to work this morning. Seven days till New Oreleans. Damn, looking forward to it. -

Did a little looking on Thomas and I am happy to say that my Congressman, Lynn Westmoreland is a co-sponsor of H.R.25 (the Fairtax Act). 28 co-sponsors right now, we need to get more people involved actively.
UPDATE – Also, Senator Saxby Chambliss introduced it into the senate as S.25, no co-sponsors yet. It has been buried in the Commitee on Finance. -

Back in the 80′s Ronald Reagan worked very hard to bring down socialism in Europe. It has taken years, and will take more, but he has succeeded. Will President Bush’ legacy be the Middle East? Lebanon, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait. All facing the winds of change in one form or another. I suppose time will tell. As each regime changes or falls, some of the violence WILL get worse, particularly for us at home. Why? Because the terrorists are running out of places to hide and will be bringing it home to the US. Be ready.

I tend to agree here. Even if global warming is a threat, which I am not so sure of, it IS Social Security that we can fix. The Farirtax Act would be a good start.

Disturbing Twist In Missing Girl Search
I have done a little more reading about Jeesica Lunsford this morning, apparently there is a good bit of criminal background on a few family members. This does not mean anything in itself, but I am sure clouds things for the investigators.
According to the FBI, around 300 kids each year are kidnapped, with about half being found dead. That sucks. I have three children myself and this is a pretty sobering thought.
My best wishes go out to her family, and hope that she is found alive. -
Been a long day. Got up at 6:30 or so, watched the baby, once my wife woke up had to go to the bank. Planted another flower garden and planted a bunch of Gladiolas. Built up the sides of the pond and brought down the area around it slightly so that there won’t be so much mud leakage into it when it rains. Wouldn’t be a problem if my fucking neighbors hadn’t clearcut their back yards. Over the course of the last year or so, I have ended up with everyone’s topsoil. Not that I can complain about that, but I don’t want the shit in my pond. Also I replaced the bricks around the pond with larger stepping stones. Looks much better. Moved the bricks to be used as a border for some other bulbs and stuff.
Just got done making peach cobbler and am finally going to watch Battlestar from last night. Tommorow is a work day, so have to be up at 4:30 or so. -

This is just really fucking sad. I have two girls and don’t even want to imagine what her parents must be going through. Anyone that would take a child should just be fucking slowly taken part starting with the soft parts.
