is a Microsoft Authorized Education Reseller. The way I originally came across the sponsor of this post is doing a search for online resellers for Microsoft Office 2007. One thing the laptop doesn’t have on it right now is an office suite. If I can find it I have Office 2000 somewhere and that will work, but if I recall one of the CDs is damaged. The wife and boy definitely need Office on there and I admit I wouldn’t mind having it as well. I had toyed with the idea of OpenOffice but I have tried it and I just don’t like it as well as Microsoft Office. It’s still the best at what it’s for, at least in my opinion.

CostCaptain has some pretty good prices as well. Prices start at $129 with academic discounts  and since the wife is a teacher that works great for us. I just have to send them proof of academic eligibility after buying the software. They also sell gift certificates as well, which is pretty cool with school starting back up.
