Weekend Open-Trackback Post

Quote of the day:
I don’t make jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts. – Will Rogers

This is the weekend open track-back post for November 3rd-5th. I don’t know exactly how much time I will have for writing this weekend as one of my folks is on vacation and I will be fairly busy.

Open track-backs are a great way to get your writing noticed by people who might not necessarily have visited your site yet. By sending a ping to this entry it will be listed at the bottom. Sometimes they will get caught in the spam folder and I check that once every 24 hours and will publish your ping.

  1. Okay, I Think Phillip K. Dick Has Been Done to Death and We Can Move On Now

Bruce is a long-time science fiction fan and as a result he’s seen almost every movie based on a Phillip K. Dick story. This is no easy task, as Hollywood has done about 15 Phillip K. Dick movies and there…

  2. Ex-Saudi Ambassador Blames US for 9/11

The wise Saudis have informed us that 7/7 was the fault of the UK, and 9/11 is now our fault. How convenient. JW: Saudi Arabia could have helped the United States prevent al Qaeda’s 2001 attacks on New York and

  3. Register to Vote – the 911 hijackers did…

Seems an incredible slap in the face, but its true.  8 of the 19 Hijackers had used phoney documents or loopholes in the state law to obtain drivers licenses, and under the Motor Voter act had also been allowed to register to vote. …

  4. How to get rid of Criminals – Deport them

When we arrest an illegal immigrant we simply ask if they would like to be sent to prison or to a Mexican College.

  5. Motor Voter = Auto Fraud-o

I was never a big fan of the federal Motor Voter Act. But where I really came to despise it was in a county office in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where I applied for my marriage license not long after it took…

  6. South Carolina Dems Stifle Voter Rights!

After all, shouldn’t the people of South Carolina have a right to cast a vote for the candidate of their choice? The momentum of the Colbert presidential campaign hit a cul-de-sac today when the South Carolina Democratic Party decided he…

  7. President Reports Progress In Iraq

And I’m sure that there are plenty of folks out there who find it particularly galling that we are headed towards success in that country. President Bush offered an upbeat assessment on Friday of progress in Iraq, saying that while…

  8. Lilian Ellison — (1923-2007) — R.I.P.

I just learned of the passing of the Fabulous Moolah, the greatest women’s champion wrestler of all time. And probably one of the legitimately toughest women as well. On June 24, 1995, she was inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame, becoming the first fe…

  9. IP’s Learn the Basics During 10-day Prep Course

This is a great article of accomplishment. I never believed in a huge central government, and I’m glad the Iraqis are finding it is within their own power to make their lives better. Ya know, after WWII, we DID write Japan’s constitution for them and…

  10. Pakistan — The Crisis

It is hard to know where to begin with this one. it is hard to know whether this is a positive step in the War on Terror or a negative one on the Road to Democracy. Regardless, the situation in…

  11. WaPo Story Confirms No Dirt On Fred Thompson

After all, when the best you can do in scandal mongering is turn up dirt from the public record on a friend/adviser that is probably a good indication that there is no dirt on the candidate. Republican presidential candidate Fred…

  12. Is Feinstein Next?

And if she is, does this mean that the GOP may be able to pick up a California Senate seat? For the second time in recent months, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (Calif.) on Friday confirmed that she will break ranks with…

  13. Compromising the Franchise

Tonight, we talk about how the franchise is being opened up to non-citizens including eight of the 9/11 hijackers and how vital the battle against illegal aliens having driver’s licenses is. (Hat Tip: Leaning Straight Up.)
    Other stories:
    The cr…

  14. Video break: Hillary

She has had a rough week I would say.  She imploded into mediocrity in the debate a few nights ago when she clearly would not take a consistent position on Illegal Immigrants and drivers licenses.  In the first video, presidential long shot J…

  15. And, of course, it will be our fault . . .

An interesting article in the Miami Herald yesterday states:
The rapid escalation of the U.S. anti-immigration hysteria — fueled by ratings-hungry cable-television hotheads and leading Republican presidential hopefuls — is a dangerous trend…

  16. Let’s Hear it for the Girl, uh, Candidate

As has been posted, Hillary Rodham was terrible in the last debate and she managed to take several positions on the same issue over a span of two minutes. She has finally come out in favor of allowing ILLEGALS to have driver’s licenses. It took…
