12 Reasons Gay Marriage will Ruin Society
1. Homosexuality is not natural, much like eyeglasses, polyester, and birth control are not natural.
2. Heterosexual marriages are valid because they produce children. Infertile couples and old people cannot get legally married because the world needs more children.
3. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children because straight parents only raise straight children.
4. Straight marriage will be less meaningful, since Britney Spears’s 55-hour just-for-fun marriage was meaningful.
5. Heterosexual marriage has been around for a long time, and it hasn’t changed at all: women are property, Blacks can’t marry Whites, and divorce is illegal.
6. Gay marriage should be decided by the people, not the courts, because the majority-elected legislatures, not courts, have historically protected the rights of minorities.
7. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are always imposed on the entire country. That’s why we only have one religion in America.
8. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people makes you tall.
9. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage license.
10. Children can never succeed without both male and female role models at home. That’s why single parents are forbidden to raise children.
11. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society. Heterosexual marriage has been around for a long time, and we could never adapt to new social norms because we haven’t adapted to cars or longer lifespans.
12. Civil unions, providing most of the same benefits as marriage with a different name are better, because a “separate but equal” institution is always constitutional. Separate schools for African-Americans worked just as well as separate marriages will for gays & lesbians.

Individual Privacy
Came across this story over at The Bitch Girls. This is one that I haven’t heard, but is very, very scary, and very much violates our right to privacy.
The Bitch Girls: Some Privacy, Please
Obnoxious Business Practices
The Bitch Girls: Creepy
I hate shit like this. Radio Shack does the same thing. They finally quit asking my name now (I shop often enough to be known). Don’t have any idea what they put, but it’s not me anymore.
Kerry and Special Interest Groups
WASHINGTON — At least three times in his Senate career, Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry has recommended individuals for positions at federal home loan banks just before or after receiving political contributions from the nominees, records show.
John Kerry, like most of the politicians out there, takes plenty of money from PAC’s and other SIG’s. The problem is that he is trying to portray himself as an opponent of all of them and what happens in Washington. Can’t have it both ways dude.
"Benedict Arnold CEO's"
I’ve been hearing that phrase out of John Kerry’s mouth alot lately, referring to all of the corporations that send jobs “overseas”. What he neglects to mention, and I am hoping that someone will eventually bring up, is the his family’s company (rather, his wife’s), Heinz, leads to list of these “Benedict Arnold” companies. They have 22 plants in the US, and plants in over 57 countries.
Not too mention all of the various companies and PACs that have contributed to his campaign that are doing the same thing. Where are all of his high fucking morals where taking their money is concerned? He has received around 30 million in contributions, 23 million of that from individuals.
Democrats block Malpractice Bill
Senate Republicans say they will keep making Democrats vote on a bill curbing medical malpractice lawsuits, despite losing another attempt to get the legislation out of the Senate and to the White House.
Just more bi-partisanism on both sides and not getting anything meaningful done. We pay these guys a shitload of money to sit around with their thumbs up their asses.
Desktop Aquarium
Thanks to Frogboy over at Wincustomize for the news. I have been using DesktopX since it was an early beta and it is a very cool product.
Stardock has released The Desktop Aquarium. It’s a stand alone program that turns your desktop into an aquarium full of fish swimming around. Here’s a screenshot: http://www.stardock.com/products/aquarium/aq2.jpg What’s particularly cool about the program is that when the fish are covered by windows, it doesn’t use CPU. So when you’re doing real work, the fish don’t slow down your computer. The aquarium is not just full of fish but also fully animated plants that wave gently in the background as well as having a treasure chest that controls whether the aquarium sound is on or off. The Desktop Aquarium is only $8.95 (Object Desktop users can get it for a discounted amount). |

Just testing a blog posting tool to see how it works. I had problems with the last one.
More Same-Sex Couples Marry in San Francisco
Hundreds more gay couples got married in San Francisco yesterday, basically in order to protest the marriage amendment that is being proposed. Apparently there have been over 900 same sex marriages in the city since Thursday.
I have two views on this stuff, which I have to try and keep seperate, but of course that is difficult. I find the though of being gay very distasteful and just don’t see how looking at some other guys hairy ass could be even remotelyt attractive. That having been said, (my other view) the government (federal or state) has no fucking right to interfere in peoples personal business or telling us who can and cannot be “partners” or legally married. This issue has nothing to do with the defense of our country, upkeep of our roads and highways, or our common welfare.
Gays in general are just trying to get to the end of the day like the rest of us. They are no different than anyone else in that most of them go to work every day, pay taxes, and live out fruitful lives. Segregating them because of their sexual orientation is illegal, and discriminating against them because of their sex has already been shown to be illegal by the Supreme Court.
My Grandmother and Great-Aunt (not gay), have lived together for many years, since my Great-Grandmother passed away, and before. For all intents and purposes, they are life partners, as my wife and myself. The only differences are the legal distinctions, and the fact that they have seperate insurance, seperate retirement plans, etc. When I die, my wife and children may get my social security benefits (at least as long as the piece of shit plan is around), but if my Great-Aunt dies, my grandmother is left with no benfits, but will be required to PAY for everything anyway.
Taken one step farther, the same thing goes for same-sex couples that happen to have sex with each other, as this is the only difference between gay couples and same-sex roommates, and other forms of life partners.
Disclaimer – Just woke up a little while ago, so some of what I said may or may not make sense. If it does not, go back to bed, and when you get up, immediately read it.
Ga. Republicans Plan New Redistricting
ATLANTA (AP) – Republicans in the state Senate said Wednesday that they will draw up a new legislative map to replace the one that three federal judges said gave unfair advantage to Democrats….
The dumbasses in the senate redrew the district maps because they were so pissed about the last elections, so they fucked the districts up. Now hopefully the new maps will be drawn correctly, putting communities and counties together instead of the childish bullshit we currently have.
