North Carolina Schools on Lockdown

Seven Mooresville schools are on partial lockdown while police search for a suspected killer.

Authorities are searching on Bluefield Road at Cornelius Road, which is near Lake Norman High School. Principal Ben Allred said the sheriff’s office told administrators to lock the school down, so they closed all the gates and are not letting students out of their classrooms without supervision.
Iredell County Sheriff’s Lt. Darren Campbell said Monday all the schools were placed on lockdown “as a precaution.” He said police are looking for a suspect in a wooded area.

According to the website the two high schools, two middle schools and three elementary schools are on lockdown in the case of gunfire in the vicinity.

Hopefully the Law Enforcement groups involved can bring this to a fast conclusion
