I did this paid post on my business blog for labia reduction (I refrained from taking it this afternoon because I could think of nothing but dirty jokes and then took it a few minutes ago) and there are several posts about the opportunity in the forums over there. One of the ladies referred to them as Beef Curtains. LMAO. I’ve heard them referred as Camel Toes, but never beef curtains.

I actually did this screenshot for a post I was doing over at my business blog about Callwave, but this is what my desktop looks like currently.
Teacher Fired Because She is a Witch
I was over at Jimi Morrison’s Head and came across this report of a Central Islip, NY teacher who is claiming she was fired because she is a witch. Obviously this has some connotations of possible discrimination but other than that I think the entire thing is stupid.
As I commented over at his site this is a non-issue for me. I recently had a girl who was about nineteen working for me that I fired last month. She very prominently dressed in Goth clothing, claimed she was a witch, and let everyone know that she was a lesbian. Other than the fact that she was obviously trying to garner as much attention as possible I could care less. The FACTS were that she worked like a slug, was not friendly, and not a single week went by that she didn’t call in at least once.
Her last week she called out four days out of five. She didn’t have to worry about it after that because I gave her plenty of free time to do whatever she felt was necessary for her personal sanity.
What makes the story of Lauren Berrios (the teacher) interesting is that she filed a $2 million federal lawsuit. According to Cnews:
While the school district was not under obligation to explain why Berrios was not granted tenure, its lawyer said Wednesday that Berrios didn’t get along with co-workers, had a condescending attitude and was eventually reported to Child Protective Services after telling tales about imaginary injuries to her son.
Not to make light of it but that is probably the more truthful explanation. I am sure that there is at least a bit of truth on both sides as well as lies, but damn.
24
I am looking forward to Monday. I don’t think I am going to do anything except to sleep in and watch the shows that I have missed the last few weeks. There are several episodes of 24, Lost, and Battlestar Galactica that I have recorded but refrained from watching.
The wife and I generally watch Lost and Battlestar together so I will refrain from watching them right way, but I will watch 24. She doesn’t particularly care one way or the other about that.
So What’s the Big Deal About Twitter?
I keep hearing more and more about twitter and am starting to notice it on some of the really big sites. I saw where one guy had it on his sidebar, and also inserted into a post and basically said “hey, now you can know when I’m scratching my ass”.
I have tried it twice and just really dislike it. That should be it for me. My choice whether to use it or not but am I missing something here? Does it do something else besides let me text message it and tell you when I’m going potty, or driving to work? Do you really care. I will be more than happy to put it back if everyone wants to know when I pick my nose or whatever. I could even set up Homeseer (my home automation software) to send an SMS message to it so that you know the second I arrive home.
Apparently I just don’t get it.
Starting out very slowly…
…me that is. I actually managed to get out of bed by a quarter to five. I didn’t want to, but I did somehow manage it. I also got in those posts at the other sites that I had planned on. That’s probably ALL I am going to get finished this morning but I did get them finished. I have to start getting ready for work shortly and get this tired boy moving.
Two more days…two more days. Tomorrow will be the killer though. I will most likely end up being at work from 6AM until at least 10PM Saturday evening, just getting things ready for me to be gone for ten days. Food orders, paperwork, scheduling. I’ve not taken a vacation this long in quite some time, so I have to make sure everything is right.
