Updated 10/14/08 – Casey Anthony has been indicted by a grand jury on seven counts including 1st Degree Murder and is in police custody. More info here.
I ran across a report earlier that a cadaver dog might have gotten a hit near the airport. and apparently MissingAbducted is hearing it’s one of Gale St. John’s dogs.

According to FOX News someone close to the Caylee Anthony investigation confirmed that there were significant levels of chloroform found in the car used by Casey Anthony. The very same car in which it has been identified that Caylee Anthony’s dead body was kept in the trunk.
This is the same car that was found abandoned that investigators said contained traces of human decomposition.
Also sources said one of the computers taken as evidence from the Anthony home showed that someone had been searching for information on chloroform and how to use it.
Chloroform was developed back in the 1800s and used to be used as an anesthetic. Breathing it in depresses the nervous system and can cause dizziness or unconsciousness. You can also die if too much is inhaled.
The Anthony’s also met with high profile lawyer Mark NeJame today to discuss the case. The family feels like the media has lost the focus of the search for Caylee Anthony. They have not retained him as their attorney but he does say that he would make himself available.
All along I have assumed that Caylee died through an accident. Drowning, overheating in the car, whatever. Then Casey just mishandled EVERYTHING about it from the time she should have called 911 all the way up until today. This changes everything and is very unsettling to me. It throws and even more unknown into the picture and could point at something very dark. It also gives the defense something as well to point at the fact that maybe Caylee was kidnapped…
One of the news channels, WFTV Channel 6 mentioned during it’s 6pm news cast that a cadaver dog had alerted in an area near the airport and then showed a bit of home video from the spot, promising more details at 11pm. That most likely means nothing substantial was found but they may have to do tests to see what’s up with the area.

Big news in the search for Caylee Anthony today. While they have not found her body yet Tim Miller and EquuSearch were considering calling it a day, packing their stuff and heading out somewhere else in the country where they want his help. Judging by the shitty turnout the last five days it’s obvious that nobody in Orlando wants/needs him, or at least it looks that way. Tim Miller believes it’s because people are losing faith in the Anthony Family. It’s not like they haven’t given the public plenty of reasons to lose faith.
Tim Miller said he’s upset because Cindy Anthony keeps saying there is evidence Caylee is alive and was given to a friend. If that’s the case, he wonders why she called and asked for his help and wonders why he should continue searching.
If it wasn’t for the sheriff calling and offering to provide assistance, he might have taken his search team somewhere else.
“If that is the truth, that she gave this child to a family to take care of Caylee, I’m upset because we have spent $28,000 for this case and we’re getting calls from all over the country that want our service that has a legitimate missing child,” Miller told Eyewitness News.
Orange County sheriff Kevin Beary is donating $5,000 in seized drug money to EquuSearch in order to assist them in the search. According to the sheriff Tim Miller and associates have been an invaluable help in the search for Caylee Anthony and their search efforts have eliminated several areas of interest to law enforcement. In addition to the $5k the sheriff’s department will also be providing patrols and airboats to help in the search as well.
They are also going to have a drone that can fly over areas and take pictures of areas and possibly notice differences that most of us would not see just by looking at it. Today the lead investigator John Allen as well as several FBI agents, have been searching beside Texas EquuSearch in their search.
The sheriff also announced a bunch more help coming their (TES) way. 80 alumni from the Civilian Police Academy, some civilian agency members as well as members of the Moose Lodge will all be coming out to help in the search.
Hopefully the extra manpower will give TES the help they need to find Caylee Anthony.
The Sheriff’s Department also filed some more charges against Casey Anthony as well. Two counts of writing a bad check, two counts of petty theft and two counts of fraudulent use of personal identification. Doesn’t look like Casey is getting out anytime soon, regardless of whether or not they ever find Caylee.
In even weirder news related to the case Leonard Padilla was on Nancy Grace again last night. I don’t generally watch Nancy Grace so I missed it and heard about it for the first time when someone emailed me this morning. Unfortunately I’ve been at work all day and haven’t had the chance to verify it. Anyhow, Leonard had this to say last night;
“When the FBI, who has got some of the finest labs in the world, comes back with their DNA, it’s going to shock the world over something that Lee, Casey and Cindy have known since Wednesday when they released their preliminary findings. And also, the dumpster a mile and quarter down from the boyfriend Tony’s house is going to play a big part in this.
He was also on the show last week and had some comments to make about having bailed Casey Anthony out of jail as well;
After reading it (the 400 pages released to the public), I don’t believe I would have talked my nephew Tony Padilla into posting the bond. And I don’t think I would have come to Orlando after reading that. I mean, I’m still hoping that little girl’s alive, but there’s a lot of information in those 400 pages that would lead those people to believe something different
