The shape of the tree adds to the pic.
I found something here. the light is falling your way, i.e. on the camera.
This is exactly the opposite side the light should be.
The other side of the tree could hav been a better shot.
Yeah, I thought about that as I was taking the picture but as we were on the trail with my cell phone I wanted the picture of her without hassling with going off the trail and making it much less spontaneous. She is pretty photogenic but you can only push the limits so much.
