Girl Assaulted on Video Found Safe

A young girl who was seen being sexually assaulted in a homemade videotape has been found and is safe with family members and sheriff’s officials, an investigator said Friday.

Police are looking for a scumbag named Chester (the molester) Arthur Stiles as a “person of interest”. Considering that he is a fugitive I bet they are interested. He is also wanted on a state warrant on a charge of lewdness with a minor younger than 14 (ewww…) and a federal charge of being a fugitive. Where’s Tommy Lee Jones when you need him anyway?

They arrested a 26 year old man who surrendered the tape to police after another man reported seeing it. His lawyer says that he volunteered the tape and shouldn’t be subject to charges, but considering that he had the damn thing for six months I think that pretty much makes him a damned pedophile and is guilty of child pornography.

Subliminal Learning

I have been thinking about stopping smoking for a long time now. The problem is that I occasionally still enjoy it. Most of the time it’s just a habit but I fight these things, particularly since everyone in the house wants me to stop. It’s a psychological thing I guess.

One of the guys I used to work with has been in the same boat for the last few years. A couple of years back he tried hypnosis and that seemed to work briefly but not for good. Recently he has been trying subliminal messaging and thus far he has been doing a pretty good job at it. I don’t work with him anymore and only speak to him on the phone occasionally so I don’t actually know if he has stopped or not for real but he does claim he’s not smoking at all and attributes it to subliminal CDs that he ordered off of the Internet. What’s interesting is that he is creating his own subliminal tapes and subliminal CDs himself using Subliminal Studio.

Subliminal messages are supposed to be pretty powerful stuff. The only reason I haven’t done anything like that is because I am always afraid I will wake up barking like a chicken or something 😉 Seriously though, I looked around the site after he told me a bit about it and the whole deal looks pretty cool. I do know that a lot of people use subliminal audio to learn languages, refine their thinking so that it’s sharper, even get rid of fears. Hey, maybe I should make a tape that will get me over my fear of flying before I have to go anywhere again. I am deathly afraid of flying and it would be pretty cool to get rid of that one.

Yesterday Was Fun…

…NOT!

I had three legal investigations to participate in yesterday, none against me thank goodness. I can’t really go into details, at least not here but suffice it to say that it was a pain in the ass. I was able to basically get nothing finished so that leaves me with double the work this morning. Not much fun (today or yesterday) but it is unfortunately a necessary evil.

Wednesday Hero

1st Lt. Forrest P. Ewens
1st Lt. Forrest P. Ewens
26 years old from Tonasket, Washington
1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry)
June 16, 2006

The love of Megan Ewens’s life arrived at Arlington National Cemetery on July 7, 2006. His ashes inside a small wooden box, the box inside a coffin, the coffin draped with an American flag and carried on a caisson pulled by six black horses.
Lt. Forrest P. Ewens had shipped out for Afghanistan in March of that same year. His wife, being the same rank in the Army, understood the risks, telling a colonel at Fort Drum, N.Y., that if anything happened to her husband, she didn’t want to hear about it from a stranger.
On June 6, 2006 Lt. Ewens and Sgt. Ian T. Sanchez were killed when ATV struck an IED while on combat operation in Pech River Valley, Afghanistan.
A few weeks before his death, Lt. Ewens called his wife from an Afghan mountain to inform her that his unit had been subsisting on melted snow and rations and that he had been writing his impressions down in a notebook he carried.
“This was the love of her life,” Megan Ewens’s mother said. “They were so well-matched and made such a good team. We couldn’t ask for a better son-in-law.”

These brave men and women sacrifice so much in their lives so that others may enjoy the freedoms we get to enjoy everyday. For that, I am proud to call them Hero.
We Should Not Only Mourn These Men And Women Who Died, We Should Also Thank God That Such People Lived

Warren Jeffs Guilty

Of course we all knew it, but the jury has found cult leader Warren Jeffs guilty on two counts of being an accomplice to raping a teenage girl. Perhaps they can put this sucker somewhere where he can be ass raped with a nice red hot poker.

And While We Are On The Subject Of Music…

Michael Moorcock seriously kicks ass. He wrote this one about the Eternal Champion, but NOT Elric, it was about a much later one. If you have no idea what I am talking about that’s OK, just enjoy the video. It certainly takes me back to 1980 or so and that’s a scary thought.

Man, Buck Dharma was like a god back then.

DEAR PRUDENCE…

One of my favorite songs and one of the top five albums.

Dear Prudence, won’t you come out to play
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It’s beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence won’t you come out to play

Dear Prudence open up your cocks
Dear Prudence see the sunny skies
The wind is low the birds will sing
That you are part of everything
Dear Prudence won’t you open up your eyes?

Look around round
Look around round round
Look around

Dear Prudence let me see you smile
Dear Prudence like a little child
The clouds will be a daisy chain
So let me see you smile again
Dear Prudence won’t you let me see you smile?

Dear Prudence, won’t you come out to play
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It’s beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence won’t you come out to play

Of course it’s not quite as classic but it goodin it’s own way is the Siouxsie & The Banshees version…

New Manager

I should be getting a new manager in my store today, at least I hope so since I have one of my other guys off. I will have to go in a bit early to make sure that the first store is taken care of and then I have to go in and do audits and inventories and show the new lady around. Hopefully she can help me get everything straightened out and cleaned up to where we can actually make some money out of the place…

Hi-Ho Hi-Ho…You know the rest…

I have to unfortunately start getting ready to go. I have to go in a bit early this morning as I have to take care of an early shift change at one store and then make it to the other one in time to check in the new store manager at 7AM.

The good thing is that I may make it home at a decent time this afternoon. There are several things I need to do but does that ever change? I seem to need to expand my days to about 30 hours in order to get everything finished AND sleep. Something always seems to suffer and more often than not it’s time with my kids and sleep time that get screwed.
