More LOST clues

If you stay at the Hanso Foundation long enough, the 4 flashing numbers on the clock turn into the word OBEY as well as turning into a hyperlink to sublymonal.

Click on the screens to unlock. Just haven’t figured out where to use the code yet. I am sure it has been posted at one of the blogs about it, since I am a little behind. If I can’t find it today I may see if I can find it.

LOST links

I have come across a few more LOST links to visit. Make sure to call the 877 number from the Hanso Foundation TV Commercial that aired on May 3rd. Goddam commercial skipping that I do, I never would have known about it if someone had not posted about it on one of the forums that I read.

I could really waste a lot of time doing this.

And I am – UPDATED 6pm. I actually did go to work today, I have spent a few minutes surfing, here are some more links for your perusal.

http://lostpedia.com/wiki/The_Lost_Experience

You can actually go to the main URL (lostpedia.com/wiki but this page had a lot of cool information.

Apparently Persephone will give you a password when you call the 877 number which will let you enter a portion of the Hanso website that has to do with The Lost Experience (an alternate reality game). Will check it out.

Keith Richards

Apparently he underwent having a hole drilled in his head to relieve pressure from subdural hematoma. Personally I think that it is all a coverup and he actually had a brain transplant. He reminds me alot of the zombies in all of those movies. Brains…brains…fucking brains…

Evanescence

Sitting here listening to Evanescence. She has a beautiful voice, the band reminds me a lot of Queensryche, just slightly more depressing. What I consider a very “operatic” voice. Geoff Tate, and Rob Halford also have singing voices like that. Just a bit more crunch and Evanescence would be a big hair metal band.

Operation Mindcrime II

It’s not often anymore that I get really excited about new music. I still enjoy it, I still buy it (mostly via itunes), and still listen to it. Quite often now, particularly since it is all available on my HTPC. I’m just not really into going to concerts and dealing with the stupid fucks anymore.

Queensryche released their new album yesterday, I downloaded it today, and the CD is on it’s way. I then paid a visit to the web site and saw an Atlanta date in August. Bought the tickets, three of them actually. Since Chris has never been to a show with us, I thought that would be nice for him. I am very much looking forward to seeing them on August 29th at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. Now the trick is to make sure that I am off work on the 29th and 30th.

They call me doctor love…

…if they were dead, KISS would be rolling over in their graves. Anyway, back to the subject at hand. My mom always wanted me to be a doctor. Hell, just think of the fun I could be having right now.

Metallica Tribute to Sabbath

I missed the VH1 showing, was happy to find this.

hmm…

It makes me wonder. Just the fact that she actually knows who Stryper is made me laugh for a second or two. I grew up a metal head in the late seventies, all the way through the early 90’s, and I even listened to them for a day or two until I realized just how bad they fucking sucked.

Tiny Voices In My Head

More RIAA antics

Apparently the RIAA has decided that copying your CD’s to your ipod (or other music players) is not legal and does not constitue fair use. Stupid fucks are trying to drive all of their business to electronic downloads I suppose.

Narnia

I read the entire Narnia series when I was about 8 or 9. Anna has started reading them (particularly since the movie has come out), and since I am leaving town on business Wednesday for four days, she got to play hooky today and we are going to see The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. I haven’t had the opportunity to take any of the kids to a movie in a couple of years, so we should have a good time. Maybe get a bite to eat beforehand, over at the Gyro place, and some Starbucks. Very low key day.

Spent the entire morning dealing with Quicken and Turbotax in preparation to filing. I am still waiting on a couple of forms in the mail, hopefully they will be here soon so that I can send the government some of my hard-earned fucking cash.
