I just don’t know what to make of this story. It’s not that I don’t believe that people sleepwalk all the time but Christ, he made it all the way into the other room and put the 16-year-old babysitter’s hand in his pants. Sleepwalking my ass. I think that if I were her daddy I would be out with a hunting rifle about now.

Someone was kind enough to leave a link to a site that has a Natalee Holloway time-line as well as a bunch of other useful links for those interested.

I knew that a couple of weeks ago the police had searched the Van Der Sloot’s (sp? too lazy to look it up) home and property again, but apparently they also searched the home of the Kalpoe’s as well. No other news has been forthcoming since then, but Deepak and Satish Kalpoe objected to the investigation (as would I) and had to be escorted from the property by the police. The news report that I read said that nothing from the home had been seized and no other details had been disclosed.
What I am wondering is if the authorities had found something else of value or if they were finally looking at the evidence again in a closer light.

Another story by an unnamed nine-year-old girl that lives here
Once there was an unlucky troll. He had a hard time communicating with others. He had a lot of stress bottled up. He had to rewrite all of the stories that he wrote, because they were burned in a fire. He had some friendship rings for all the friends he made but he lost them all. Every time he tied his shoes they came untied. One day, he lost his voice so he had to communicate by using hand signs. He never started smiling until one day one lady troll walked by and she was unlucky too. She wanted a friend so they went to play. Everybody laughed at them and thought they were ugly except for one person, the loneliest person ever, he doesn’t even have a house of belongings. So the unlucky troll and the pretty troll gave half of their stuff away in a garage sale to earn some money to buy the lonely troll some things. They ended up with so much more all of them bought a house and millions more belongings.
If you can’t tell, we have been watching Shrek lately (the four-year-old has to watch everything 42 times).

Since I got promoted I get a car allowance added to my check every two weeks. They pay for 100% of my gas, and I get something like $300 a month for an allowance. Not a bad deal. That works out to a $3900 a year raise not including the other bonuses that I get. Pretty sweet deal, huh? I had to call my insurance agent today to get a new car insurance quote since I had to add my company as an additional insured, make sure that I had at least 300,000/100,000 liability and 25k property and I also dropped the van off of the policy since I didn’t bother getting tags for it this year anyway. I will probably be putting it in the classifieds next month or sell it on an auction site. I figure if I can get about $2500 on it I will be doing OK.
